I think I’ve posted a similar one, before, but this is with the matte finish after a wash (rather temperate day between the wet weather and cold to come) on a cloudy day in the driveway.
This also has the side marker covers from Lamin-X in ‘tint’ color (The lightest they do, I think).

I missed the boat by some years on this thread. I first came across all these pictures of your lovely cars around a year ago when I started thinking that I would quite fancy a Z4 M40i too. Circumstances at the time meant it wasn't possible, but finally everything came together in December last year. Here's my new ride at Epsom Downs looking North over London on an unfortunately hazy day.

Everytime I see one of those red over white Z4s I want to change my order (cognac over PB) - just a beautiful car and the lighter wheels really look good on it. I have a white BMW now so was thinking I'd do something different, but man I REALLY wish I could see a real life picture of my build before it arrives to know if I'm making the right choice because that is just gorgeous.

I can indeed. Give me a few days, I need to be at work so daylight photos can only be taken at the weekend. My car does look particularly good in that shot, sunset, just washed, a pant enhancement film and shot with a Galaxy S20.
I must admit your choice of Portimao is great. I was considering a 430i cab or M340i, and that was my colour choice. It is so rich in so many light settings. I'm sure it will look stunning ! |

No black pack on mine, not something I am a fan of (just a personal thing). The adaptive LEDs are part of the visibility pack in the UK and I don't have that. My car has the comfort pack (heated steering wheel, through load hatch, comfort access including remote roof opening, wind deflector) and the technology pack (H/K hi-fi, headup display, rear parking camera). So where the black pack would colour all the wing mirrors etc mine are the bronze/grey colour. I've marked where this appears in this picture. Personally I think this contrasts really well with white paint and looks pretty classy.

Personally not a fan of shadowline trim with non-black wheels. The cerium wheels & matching trim look good together, IMO.

Agreed, I'm very happy with the way my car looks, and I always go full disco inside with blue ambient lights to clash with the magma leather :-)

I agree with you 100% that the cerium looks very nice. the issue is at least here in the USA you can’t seem to get the better headlights unless you get the “shadlowline” pack. No idea why they are grouped together as they have nothing to do with each other but I can’t find the full adaptive LED lights except with shadowline. I’m already giving up my steerable lights (which I LOVE as live in a development that is very dark at night, lots of sharp curves and no street lights and people walking dogs on the streets after dark. The lights on my car steer left and right as I turn my wheel and it makes a huge difference).

The grouping of the adaptive LEDs with the Shadowline package is new for 2023, at least in the US. Used to be able to get them separate, or they may have been part of the Premium Package. Anyway, I think they are grouped now because the lights themselves have “shadowline” trim or something.
