Never really thought about them. That said the car has a load of ///M on it already.

Would you be kind enough to provide some links where we can purchase them along with the pictures?

Pics I posted are from AliExpress.com. Search BMW "door pins". Endless super cheap options. Also Amazon, etc.

Just something to consider: If the pins aren’t tapered at the end it would make it easier to break into the car.

OEM could nicely compliment the stripes in the piping with the Alcantera interior. "Diamond" styles I didn't post are beyond gaudy. I think pins can add a nice detail.

Could be cute like the "diamond" plate frame was on my white cars with pale gray leather. The Little Vehicle is too thuggy.

i think it looks a bit "cheap".
its also probably in the way when you put your arm on the door while driving.

I don't even know why these pins are even there. You can't grab them while they are pushed in and the lock button is there for locking/unlocking the doors from inside.

Hmm, that’s a good point. While it’s not possible to unlock with the tapered pins, will the car lock by pushing it down? (And thus, if you could grab the pin, would it unlock?)

Never noticed them before, but my other vehicles have them. Seems like they are a legacy hold over, but maybe there is a purpose, beyond garnish?

I would consider the carbon fiber or blue to go with my alcantara interior.

Maybe they are a visual indicator that the door is locked
