Thats right, they have something called zylon now which runs through some hanger arms, its like 700 odd strands of some space age material in one unit stronger than steel that would likely have saved Senna.

i dont know how it ll happen but Vettel was jumping from kerbs again.. hes got a new chassis now i hope it wont break it again right before the race.. but at least now he is 0.3-0.4s behind from Leclerc.. if its something to be happy about though...

He's one hundredth off on similar program (FP1). He's 0.3-0.4 off on a different program (FP2). Both drivers will be back on the same program in FP3.

they just started FP2 with opposite tires and switched.. anyway i hope he can be better than Leclerc this weekend..

I was just reading about the results of the long runs , and that was really interesting ...

The Mercs ran 6 laps and their tires looked pretty bad .
MAX ran 9 laps and his tires looked still OK . After 4 laps MAX was 0.8 sec. faster than HAM and more than 1 sec. faster than the viking .
Well if you ask me , this makes me think at Silverstone 2 .
Of course as we know ,the race has to be driven yet...

That's why he wanted mandatory 2 stops.

I really hope Vettel doesn't get stuck behind drivers who are slower but outqualified him because his tire management was great and on the medium tire long runs he was 4-5th fastest.

One thing that caught my eye was that Verstappen was entering T1 one gear lower than the rest and T1 one gear higher. While Leclerc and Vettel were consistently using lower gear exiting which shows the low torque of their engines.
