It is funny how that 34% number appears on many of our stats. I guess their software designer didn't take into consideration that owners frequent sites like Bimmerpost where we can compare our notes.

I suspect the relatively low number of G29s on the road impact their calculations (smaller sample size).

That plus having to opt in. At least I did, but maybe I had already declined some initial setup step that defaulted to sharing data.

I agree with you. As I mentioned in a post a while back the 34%, 14%, 2% coincide with percentages contained in 1, 2, and 3 sigma normal distributions. The only thing that isn't obvious is when it says 34%, is the split between 1-sigma low and 1-sigma high since they don't publish the overall mean. You'd have to look at enough data points to estimate the 1 to 2 sigma transition values and then estimate the mean.

Apparently I drove %49 more than other Z4 drivers in March. I also used %49 more carbon dioxide. Hmmm... Strange coincidence.
