I don't want to hear it, being out all last week coupled with Thanksgiving and eating throughout the weekend I wouldn't be shocked if I am up 10lbs. Planning to bring it back down this week, we will see what happens.
Lifted shoulders/biceps Saturday, back/triceps yesterday, and chest today. Knee is ready to get back into lifts yet, so will have to get creative with my regimen this week haha. |

Depends on what your goal is. Gut reaction is leg press. But it really depends if you are looking to build mass, tone, increase flexibility, etc. Tons of other options to keep leg strength - Sissy squats, lunges, DB Squats, etc etc.

Legs today, didn't go crazy, ended with 325 squat for 4 and Dead 325 for 5. Overhead barbell press 125 for 8, 135 for 6. I'm finally at 200 lbs thanks to all the peanut butter and weight gainer. Lifting in general is more fun now that I have solid calorie source. I'm not as worn out. |

Squat jumps, dumbbell squats, bent legged deadlifts. As well as what was already mentioned. |

Damn man, that is really unfortunate. My gym membership expires on the 4th, don't feel like paying to renew, but know I will lol. Luckily when they closed for 48 days back in april or may, they just extended my membership those 48 days which was quite nice.

Got in for a good leg day last night, and on to shoulders/traps tonight. I've switched up my routine where I'm doing legs twice/wk (Tues/Fri) as I'm worried about getting stork legs while staying big up top from all the running/cardio.
I gain weight fast in my legs, so we'll see what's what. I was 201.2lb this morning (I'm 6' 2-3/4")

Had to google that one, you're here telling me you're purposefully adding biomass of blue/green algae to your protein shake!? Probably tastes revolting alone haha. Read the health benefits though, sounds like a solid addition!

This one 50 yr old dude i know who is crazy ripped - rarely works out - genetic freak (all american Rutgers track) - takes it daily - swears by it. I'm going to start taking it with my pre-workout. I just kind of forgot about it and haven't taken it since getting serious about lifting in probably a year. Grab some for sure. |

Spirulina -good!!
My favorite of all time for protein was Spiru-tien. Came in these thick little disks, and had the spiralina mixed in. Far more pocket friendly that peanut butter ![]() Sadly, they discontinued the wafers, and I don't care to mix the powder |

Leg/knee is feeling good again! I'm back baby!!! lol
Plan to hit legs this weekend. Probably more of a volume workout rather then heavy, but I am still anxiously awaiting it haha. Hit chest this AM, I always get the meanest pump during chest days. Feel like I went up a damn cup size haha. Hit the cycle following my workout for 15mins, then finished with 10mins of rowing. Leaned out through the week as well, feel like I dropped 10lbs. Might stay lean until Christmas then debate following that. Wedding is in May, so technically I'd have a 6-8weeks to bulk before cutting if I wanted to. Decisions...decisions.. |

Got a good Bi/Tri workout in last night. 1st time in months that my tennis elbow in my right hasn't flared up, but probably bc I also was keeping weight moderate. Finished off w/13min (10 min w/3min cool down) elliptical "hills". Kept my speed around 11mph and knocked out an avg. of 5min 36sec/mi
Got my 2nd day of legs this afternoon. Gonna go a bit lighter so I can get in/out. Got the in-laws coming over for dinner

Pool day. Felt good after missing last week due to deer hunting in PA. Great time in the woods with my son.
7 x 200 yds in the pool today, 10% shorter time duration so 10% faster average speed compared with last session. I did a minor deltoid tear a few days ago and it didn't affect the swim session today. |

I'm thinking about cycling back on to creatine. I'm 44, the last time I used creatine was when I was 30. I cycled on for about 3 months, then would take a month off, etc. I used to buy flavored tablets from GNC, but I'm guessing those things are long out of production. I don't like powders, I'd prefer a good flavored tab or gummy if there is such a thing. Any suggestions?
