Adaptive M Suspension worth it as an add on?
I dont plan on driving on a track, but wondering if this is something people are adding?
Adaptive M Suspension $700 Adaptive M Suspension extracts even more driving dynamics potential. The Dynamic Damper Control and air cushioning on the rear axle are tuned to deliver exceptionally sporty driving characteristics. |

It's absolutely worth having. I have it on both my Z4 and X3. Generally if you buy a BMW without it, you get a ride that is going to lean on the harder side. I test drove an M340I without active suspension and did not like the ride quality because it was (for me) too harsh to be a daily driver on average roads.
Adaptive suspension has nothing to do with driving on a track. For the most part, it means in comfort mode you will get a bit of a softer ride and in sport modes it will be more firm. If you are driving on twisty roads, you can put it in adaptive mode and it will vary the suspension depending on how the car is being driven. Rob |

My Z4 has adaptive suspension and my M4 does not. I drive the Z4 in Sport most of the time, but occasionally use comfort. I wish I had that option in the M4. You might not use it much, but just having it available makes it worth it.

Its the best $700 youll ever spend
Allows the car to go from a luxury cruiser in comfort to a track car in sport plus with traction control turned off. Its worth 2X the price.

Have bought it since it was first available & will not by a car without it. Even have mag suspension in Goliath.

No have had it for a number of years on 3 cars & 1 truck. Two different types, GM's is better, without any issue at all with the suspension.
