Took two days but the ceramic coating is now done. Since the car was just delivered Friday, very little prep was needed.

The picture does not do it justice... it actually looks wet.

I did my X5 with Cquartz, the UK 3.0 version. Love it. Haven't hit it with Reload yet. Doesn't need anything after a year. Recently bought another 50 ml for when I finally get a Z4.

That's the first picture I've seen of a Z4 with the anthracite silver top. There's probably not that many out there with it.

My Z4 has the anthracite top. It is also completely wrapped in XPEL Stealth and is coated (including the wheels) with XPEL Fusion Plus ceramic coating.

Looks good. I used CQuartz 3.0 on my wife's X3 a year and a half ago. It is still going strong. Makes washing a breeze. I used Cquartz 3.0 on my Z4 11 months ago and put 303 on the top. The rain beads on the top just like the rest of the car.

And then finished with a spot free rainwater rinse via a garden hose dropped out of a 4' wall vent and an ass kicking pump I use for watering tropical fruit trees (mangos, avocados, citrus, etc.) I grow.

I plan on doing the same when my car is delivered. What did you have to do since it was brand new before applying the ceramic coat?

I've watched a lot of youtube videos, but since this is a new off the boat car do I need to do anything to prep besides a good wash?
