MAX's tire incident was absolutely NOT normal ...His counter steering reaction was outstanding , but ended in the gravel !

The RB 16 looked faster today . That's promising for in the next 4 races !

witnessed a history...

not much overtaking but it was a fun race with some parts.. it was a shame for Max cause he was having a good race and he was patiently pursuing struggling Bottas and overtook him in the end..

Lewis' tyre management is in another level.. he was gonna take the lead anyway without VSC.. amazingly great work to make things look boring but actually its not.. wow..

Russel' mistake shows the human part of the sport while just about to take some points.. and more Albon pushes things go downhill.. thats sad..

Short term gain, long term pain.

Merc do have better drivers. Max did well today, but I think he wore those hard tires too thin to survive debris on track. And didn’t have enough lead on BOT to pit, so he kept going. And now regrets it.

MAX spoke the HULK already . Marko has the last word and should agree...But he showed interests as well . As he talked from the last free RB seat .
As we saw Albon screwed it up under pressure , once again .. Albon got enough opportunities .Think it was enough !

Lewis is putting on racing clinics at this point. He is calling his own strategies, preserving the tires like no one else on the track driving any other chassis.

Anyone not appreciating this cannot be a true F1 fan.

We shall see. RB is 51 percent owned by a Thai company.

I agree that ALB needs to be demoted. RBR need a different driver strategy and need to change their car development to bring both cars forward and not make it so pointy as Max likes it.

According Horner : Albon can change his set-ups when ever he wants . But he is struggling to find a good personal balance of his car .
Perhaps Albon has not the feeling to do it...
Albon's PU is pushing same power as MAX's car .

yes unfortunately he had mate..

IF Hulk comes to RB and after some time still struggles like 0.4 - 0.5s i believe that can mean car is too much Max oriented.. Max is a great driver but that bias might be killing RB's possible constructors points.. then there is not much point to put too much pressure on the 2nd driver..

Ridiculous indeed....HAM radioed Bono with a during-race strategy to take control of the fate of the race....and then consecutive fast laps and fast sector times to create the 26+ sec lead needed to survive a tire change.

HAM continues to operate on another level from his chief competitors. As previously stated in this thread, the F1 world is watching greatness as history is being created by the precision and engineering at MB and by the racecraft by HAM.
