mate each team had a quali mode.. DAS is a pure invention.. other teams could do such cooling or heating tire techs as well.. and the last one sorry but its just fictional..

As we know It's really easy to beat Bottas . That's why HAM took the WDC in the fastest car of the decade !

The only blemish I can remember on Mercedes record is when they did their "illegal" tire test after Barcelona in 2013, for which they were penalized (albeit lightly). Other than that, they've been pretty squeaky clean.

It's actually quite amazing how well they've been able to innovate within the rules. Quite the model team

I think it's a bit disingenuous to say that Max is the only driver to be able to split the Mercedes. While its true that has been the case this year, the same cant be said of years prior. I think most of us here would agree that if you put half the field in a Red Bull or Ferrari (well, not this years Ferrari), they'd be able to split the Mercedes duo with the a similar frequency that Max does.

Don't take this to mean that half the field is just as good as Max though. He does seem to have a special, raw talent. Just pointing out that there is good talent further down the field that could achieve that. There's a reason why they are in F1 after all

I didn't say the whole field, I said half Grosjean used to be rated very well. Remember his time with Lotus and being partnered with Kimi? He held his own very well. Not sure why he fell of pace so much...

Regarding the Mercedes, it's the car/driver combo. Other drivers would have been able to win in the Mercedes, but most likely without the same frequency or consistency. His skill did play a large part in his seven titles, but the car did play a role in helping him achieve his records. To say it's only the car is to be a bit ignorant of the skill it takes to drive these cars.

1. My friend, not worth a hundred HP...maybe 40 at the best estimate. And it's not just the power. It's the deployment of the power. This is where Mercedes is superior...drivability. Additionally, Mercedes has been trolling all of F1 since 2014. Once they solved the chassis problems of 2012 during the 2013 season, they had the best chassis in the field but kept it secret until recently...even talking up the RBR and McLaren chassis while laughing.

2. DAS fully legal and developed with the FIAs knowledge. Written out of the rules to avoid a DAS spending war.

3. Tire Cooling System is advanced spokes. Not illegal and even copied by a few teams.

4. Invented by Big Foot. That's how much credibility this has.

Mercedes has taken it to another level that RBR can't match even though they have 440+ million dollars to spend. They need smarter people and a driver that can help develop a good car. They have work to do.
