640d GC
Hard to follow that Bud, but here I go ...2 weeks owner of a 640D GC, I love the thing already, have some a lot of plans for the near future and I'll be sure to post some pics on here.
I'd like to ask you boys, are you alright with us Londoners posting on here? I've joined the forum upon finding UK made posts, I'm actually looking for a good garage around London and some advice from someone around here, if I got lost please someone redirect me to the uk fan-base? ![]() |

My sister just got a 2020 S6 and is kind of regretting it now. I tried to get her into a M550i but no luck. |

Very first BMW was a 2008 135i in Sedona Red and black leather interior with Msport and Berk Technology Race exhaust 6MT. Miss that car alot.
Then a 2011 335xi in White and black leather, Msport with MPPK Then a 2016 F15 x5 in Glacier Silver and black leather, Msport, fully loaded. Parents wanted to downsize and so they sold their two cars and bought this one from me. Now, 2018 F30 340i White and black leather, fully loaded with OEM CF bits all over. Love the power and looks! Wife is in a market for a new x5, so that will be fun in the new few months to get her into BMW since she cant stand her Volvo XC90 suv.

My first BMW was a 08 335 xi 6MT in Sparking Graphite. One of my favorite cars I have owned.
I got it because I needed an AWD vehicle for the Alaskan roads and convinced myself during the shopping process the inline 6 and turbos were needed too. I wasn't wrong ![]() Last edited by gcbcbc; 01-02-2021 at 12:02 AM.. |

My 2017 330i is my first BMW. I had saved enough money for the downpayment and found an amazing deal on a CPO low mileage 3 series that had been well maintained and had almost every option that I wanted (hint: not many). I start college in the fall and plan on driving this car basically until the wheels fall off. I probably won't get a BMW once that happens though, as I do not like the direction the company is taking with its design, excessive focus on luxury, and straight up unethical practices like using software to disable option that you didn't pay for.

First one was a white 2013 535i. I never even liked BMW before but my wife convinced me to go to the dealership because she had previously leased three and said they were great cars. I only liked the look of the M vehicles they had at the time, which came with tremendous amount of horsepower that I would never use. Then my sales guy said I could get one with an m sport package that would give me the M look but without the ridiculous hp that I did t want.....I was all in. He had one on the lot that was perfect and we picked it up a couple of days later.
That's the only BMW that we've had. When we turned in the lease, the next model 5 series looked basically exactly like the one we just had. So instead of basically getting the same vehicle again for three years, went across the street to Mercedes instead. Now that I just sold the second Mercedes-Benz and six years later.....back home with BMW building an X7 to meet our specific needs. Ever thought I would ever build a vehicle but the older I got, the more particular I got. The X7 is popular and was hard to find used exactly what I wanted so built one instead. Still patiently waiting on delivery in mid January 2021. |

My very first BMW was a 1978 R80/7 followed by a 2005 K1200LT and a 2009 K1300GT (both of which I still have). First BMW with 4 wheels was a 2004 330 ci that I got in 2012 and sold in 2020.

My first was a '88 E28 528e with all of 125 hp and a 5 speed manual. I love that car. Drove the wheels off it and "sold" it to my son who took it off to college and drove the wheels off it a second time. It lasted 250k miles with just minor issues (water pump, cooling system). Couldn't pass smog at the end so we donated it. I've had several BMWs since that first one and loved each and every one. But, the first love is always special, cars included.

1977 E12 530i, purchased used in '79 with 11K on the clock. Liked it so much I went to an M635CSi from there.

My first BMW is the current one I own. A 2009 BMW 328i xdrive. Brought it in April 2019 from the original owner. I paid him $8k. The car had 67k miles at the time. Currently, it is sitting in the garage on a trickle charger at 72k miles
![]() The car also came with a fat folder full of service history done at the selling BMW dealership and indy. Along with two window stickers (ones I the trunk the other one is shown in the picture). |
