I think it's futuristic and cool. Go ahead and be bold, BMW. They shouldn't make small evolutionary steps. This is a departure and I rather like it.

I (truly) wonder what percentage of 7 Series buyers would own something so avant-garde. 🤔 I thought these buyers would be the most conservative of BMW buyers. Maybe they need something that conveys the virtue signal that they're evolved enough to choose an EV?

The car will most likely share the divided headlight design with the new X8 and adopt design features from the iNext. What do you think of the design? Is this what the new flagship from BMW will look like?

I hope not

Nice work but I think the 7 series grille looks worse than the G80/82 by a long shot. Doesn't flow at all

Koreans never create anything. Chrysler was first to do split headlights with the Cherokee and the Koreans as they do lifted it from them. I don't get the industry moving to split headlights. I don't see this trend lasting long as it just doesn't look as good as a well designed single housing.

It's actually not bad. That SUV render is what exactly? Can you clarify?

To be fair, BMW is giving a nod to Korea with the G70 chassis code.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Cherokee, that was a hideous design. Either way, BMW is copying the wrong people.

Your renders, to me, have a good grill to front bumper vertical height ratio.
It's a styling queue that's historically consistent with a brand. The grill doesn't hurt/hinder the operation of the vehicle anyways.

Seems like a trend. First the grills, now headlights. The headlights are a copy of the new Genesis. I wonder if the designer of this 7er is the same as the new 4er.

Is BMW really going with this split-headlight look? I also saw some more revealing X8 spyshots and amateur renderings of the same thing. Would be hilariously bad timing with all of the Genesis models wearing the same design language (and pretty handsomely IMO).

This pics came in press car « GOCAR » in September 2019. But the G12 LCI appeared in January 2019! So why they said a new i7 then?

Interesting that it says "electric test vehicle," isn't there also a sticker for hybrids like the 45e that just says "hybrid test vehicle?" If so, could this may be a mule of the future i7, using the current G11 body?
