Where was the guaranteed 1st and probable 1st and 2nd? It’s easy to ge fast for 15 laps. It’s racecraft that makes a winner. Neither merc driver managed the tires like HAM. Neither finished on the podium. So no. I’m not kidding.

Unfortunate for Russell. He did absolutely everything right in regards to on-track performance and it came down to a puncture that he could not control.

Everything else, outside of his control and as a stand-in driver with a car you're not familiar with, you're going to lean on your pit wall and crew.

Bottas on the other hand...
