It was most likely a different product, but I didn't like the look of it on mine.

There are PPF made specially for mat paint. Mine has the PPF and it appears no difference from the factory Frozen Gray. You should give it a try - save a lot of hassle.

Appreciate it. Already had the ceramic applied and it's working beautifully. The rims repel the brake dust with ease. I'm impressed with this ceramic.

If you drive the M40i around a bit, park it and then start it, the engine blips to just over 2k RPM for a sporty and rather loud sound. It's fun, though today I went to the grocery store and when I came out, there was a police car (occupied) a few spots away, windows down. I was like, well ...maybe I let the car sit long enough that it won't vroom and get a bunch of attention called to me. Nope. I drove away slowly ...
