I'd be down for that! Looks like BMW on twitter likes my pics too with a few retweets and likes.

Northern lower Michigan

So I bought the Z4 one month ago yesterday and turned 2700 miles when we returned from a few days in my old home town of Traverse City, Mi. Absolutely LOVE the Z4 and couldn't be happier with the purchase.

So the lighthouse pic is taken at Empire, 30 miles west of Traverse and that's Lake Michigan in the background. The other two shots are on the peninsula in TC, that's west bay in the background that also dumps into Lake Michigan. Northwest lower Michigan is primo in my book, but then I might be a little prejudged.

Our fall Smokies run

Drove down on Sunday and had a half day running on Monday, until the rain moved in early afternoon. When the sun was still out I got some shots on the Foothills Parkway and at the Fontana Dam. Also some shots of us on the Dragon. Go to this site, https://129photos.com/our-photos/, go to Monday 10/25, the BMW section, at 11:26 for some shots there. This was my 41st time down there, the last four times in my M4, two M550's and now the Z4, the other 37 times on one of 11 BMW motorcycles. Wanted some shots on the Cherohala skyway, but when we got to elevation the rain, wind and clouds ended any thoughts of pics and running quick! Maybe a 100 ft of visibility up there. If you've never been there, it is well worth the trip. Forget a Sat or Sun, too many bikes and slow drivers. Mon-Thurs the best days for playing fast. For me, it's the most fun I can have and still have my clothes on!!!!

IMHO, including the Z4 in the shot improves every picture that you take!

I was out today for a brief top down drive. 64 degrees and perfect blue skies on the 8th of November in Michigan is a rare occurrence. Stopped at a store to pick up some new jogging shoes and couldn't pass up the perfect background! Getting in some miles this week as the four month hibernation will probably start on Saturday.

Oh, and loving the CarPro Perl tire dressing. Mild satin look, not too glossy and it's been on for 10 days now.

I checked out the CarPro Perl and it looks great. Did you use this type of applicator? Also did you apply 2 coats as mentioned on their website or more?

No, I didn't. I used a dry 3-5 sponge. About 4 squirts onto the sponge for each tire. I did not dilute the Perl. With Gloria's X3 M40i I wet the sponge, wrung it out completely, the same 3-4 squirts undiluted per tire. With that method there was not much satin look to her tires as with mine. I like my look better, but different strokes for different folks!

I just ordered the CarPro Perl along with their applicators. Once received I will also try putting it on with a sponge.

Their website recommends 2 coats applied 20+ minutes apart. How many coats did you apply?

Your tires look beautiful and I can't wait to try it on mine!

So basically a dry sponge yields you the best results?
