very minor item on US build configurator fixed
The configurator has been updated. I previously for the M40i had the Driving Assistance Package, Premium Package and the Executive Package selected and then went in to add the "Parking Assistant" that parks the car in Options. In the past when you then went into add the Options, the "Parking Assistant" option if chosen told you it was removing the "Park Distance Control" but it was actually removing the ENTIRE "Driving Assistance Package" (i.e. Park Distance Control, Active Driving Assistance, Blind Spot Detection). I learned this as after my order was placed, I noticed in the actual order that the entire Driving Package was removed. The configurator did not make that clear. The NEW configurator now clearly states when you add the Parking Assistant that it is removing the entire Driving Assistant Package. I wanted to highlight this for anyone else who may have wanted the Driving Assistance Package AND the Parking Assistant and ordered it. You cant have both in the US so you may want to check your order if you tried to order both like me. I can now live without a small car that parks itself (the Parking Assistant) as I much prefer after many cars with big blind spots to have the blind spot detection and other features in the "Driving Assistance Package" for safety. I may end up turning the lane control and similar features off or to lower sensitivity if they are too annoying but really wanted the blind spot detection as an extra check beyond my habitual look over the left shoulder.

Thanks... yes, that was an issue for early buyers. Even the paper guide (before the M40i configurator was available) indicated that you could have both. The other nice feature of the Parking Assistant is that the car can automatically reverse the last forgothowmany feet, which may be useful to some.
