Is there any better transparent wind deflector for G29?
I ordered the Ur Wind deflector from Germany. Arrives next week. Will post my impressions.

There are many reports about wind buffeting on the Supra, but I think it also happens on the Z4. The other day I was driving top up, but driver window down and at 70kph the buffeting was quite annoying. I stuck my hand where the visor attaches to the door frame and the buffeting stops.

My Golf R also has buffeting with the driver window down, but if I open the passenger side window a bit, it stops.

There is a bit more turbulence with the glass vs. the original mesh deflector. In the beginning that irritated me a bit in sub 70F/20C temperatures.

However, visibility is MUCH improved, especially at night time. Personally, I also think it looks better aesthetically. The Glass used is tempered and fit is top notch.

Hence, while I thought in the beginning I might switch back to the mesh in Spring/Fall temperatures, I actually NEVER went back to the mesh.

Really like the look but do think I would like to deal with the turbulence. Lots of high speed interstate runs.

On extended interstate drives above 65 mph I always close the top. For city or scenic routes the additional turbulence has not bothered me as much in temperatures above 70F.
