330i Crash in Los Angeles this AM on local ABC news
A speeding vehicle broke through a guardrail on the freeway, and travelled 50 feet before landing upside down in a house where a couple was sleeping. The female driver was trapped in the car for about an hour before rescue workers could get to her. Apparently there were no fatalities.
Just saw this on Los Angeles ABC News 7 this morning, and though it wasn't mentioned, the wheels were BMW Style 162 on what appeared to be a Sparkling Graphite Met. exterior. Hope it wasn't someone from this forum. DRIVE SAFELY ALL! |

if the report was true about the speeding car, then i only feel sad for the people at home, the house damage and the damage to the car.
if the car was not speeding and the driver was not breaking the law or doing something stupid like not concentrating on the road and it was a real accident because maybe she slipped over an oil slick for instance, then i feel sad for her as well. that's all.

This is NOT the accident I was referring to in this thread, but I stumbled upon a Z4 accident also. UGH!

I wonder if the162's are still good.
On the flip side, someone may get a new Bimmer and another can renovate their home! |

I don't think it was an e90. I just saw it on the news and it looks like 162's...but the wheels curve out then pinch back in...looks kind of like toyota wheels. Plus, the exhaust was single barrel...all e90's in the US have double barrel.
