I have the black high gloss trim and love the way it looks. As you like it also this should be a non issue in your decision making process.

I never had an issue driving with the top down when I lived in Manhattan because I never left anything sitting on my seats that someone could grab when I had the top down. If I still lived up north I would still drive with the top down from early Spring to late Fall.

Sunglasses help create a bit more privacy, I wear them always when driving top down.

Lived in Jersey City & Spring Lake NJ, worked in Manhattan. My first car was bought in 1960, a 1957 Fairlane 500 Sunliner. Have lived in a few other places including overseas & now North Carolina.

Was never without a Convertible. Even in the Army had use of a Jeep when not using my assigned vehicle M88A1 .

Life is to be enjoyed so buy the Z4 if thats your desire. My Boxster turned into a Z4 M40i & have been very happy with the change.

I just got off the phone with an old friend of mine that lives in NY and he was not aware that the 6MT was now available on the Z4.

I want to send him some reviews from legitimate sources so if you had to pick one or two of the more recent videos and also one or two of the blogs that reviewed the 6MT which would you select?

If I recall, the gang at BMW Blog was anticipating their video review early-mid April, (the actual review, not that 1 mile trip with the ever useful opening/closing of the top segment, ). I suspect we’ll start seeing a lot more around the same time or shortly after since there’s apparently no media day for it, thus relaying on scheduling of individual outlets over time.
