Your 3 vehicle picks

So you have a million bucks to spend and you are going to get 3 vehicles...what would you get? (so no you can't get a Bugatti - try to think a little more conventional)

would you get a sedan, sports car and an suv? Your life isn't changing (i.e. you still have to drive in your traffic, get your groceries, lug your kids around, etc. so you may not want 3 exotic cars)

a brand new M5, Lamborghini LP640 Versace Edition, and a Bentley Flying Spur as the daily driver and to lug things around. I'll mod the hell out of the M5........HRE wheels, KW V3's,new sway bars, new strut braces, mounting brakets and the works for every part of the suspension, Alcon or Brembo brakes, EvoSport headers and pullies, Eisenmann full exhuast, BMW Individual interior, Dinan software, and who knows what else. I'd just put some wheels and an exhuast on the lambo, and I'd get the bentley touched up by Mansory.

I'd rent a truck or van when I need to move people or things.. Or take someone else's car..

All I need is two seats on a day to day basis..

So where do I sign up??

BMW M5, Alpine White (family car)
Porsche 911 Turbo, Cobalt Blue (daily driver)

The best part, is that I should still have close to $500k left over to make a nice down payment on the home to go with these nice cars

Since you said "you life isn't changing" (except for having a million dollar car allowance), I'm still 25, single (though I'm sure these cars would change that ), and without kids.

BMW M5 (alpine white) - daily driver
Ferrari 599 (black) - panty dropper

...and for the 3rd car. Since I'd have roughly $600k left, and a used F1 car is still over a million (and needs a team of engineers to start it); I'd want a GP2 car. I suppose if that's still too pricey, I could always get an Ariel Atom. But I'd prefer some type of Formula car.

I become the BMW family
wait for the MX5 (or X5is) for the family car
M3 - My Daily driver/ wife's track car
135tti - track car!

Rest of the money goes to mods/ house! I may drool at some of the nicer more expensive cars but I really don't want/need them. Would rather get return on my other investments.

I adhere to your approach. I'd definitely have the DBS for the class, but I think I'd snatch up a GT3 (..or Carrera GT) for the sheer driving enjoyment, and an ///M5 respectively.

Damn, and I'd keep my 330i for the gas mileage.

With $1,000,000 I would be able to get more than three cars..
(Not exact on prices)

$265,000 Aston Martin DBS (Business type stuff)
$230,000 Ferrari F430 Scuderia (Fun)
$140,000 Porsche 997 GT3 RS (Fun)
$65,000 BMW e90 M3 Sedan (Family + Fun)
$20,000 Ducati 1098 S (Fun)

Could really care less about the Aston..
Would have $280,000 left over for car expenses and maintenance..
Maybe even modding if I chose to.

I saw that exact same color on an Alpina B7 the other day. It has a purple tint to it. The color is sick!
