I'm a female, and yet I have no idea what the hell you guys are on about, and shoes as a collection? omg.

Now I finally understand how my husband feels about me and cars. He also takes the bigger part of the closet. I'm going to have to spend some time thinking about this.

I think I'm doing it wrong! LoL

I hope none of my friends read these, because half of them own a pair, but Jordans are some unattractive shoes...

i'm not a big shoe collector or anything but i do enjoy a nice pair of clean shoes.

i don't think they're anything wrong with enjoying multiple things. to your point though, i am definitely a car enthusiast more than a shoe enthusiast by far. i question that in some of the people in this thread. lol

same. if i think something looks good and feels good then i get it. i have a lot of nice shoes but if we're talking about rubber shoes then i seem to lean toward puma's lately.

i somewhat agree. i think they're just average looking shoes that people buy just for the name. i think they're highly over rated with great marketing.

I'm just pathetic, and shopping is not my game. If it's not gas, milk or something with an engine, I don't bother at all. Still, when I went trough these posts, I had to admit that some of the guys here have style that I for one envy.

Jordans just strike me as immature shoes best suited for middle school/high school kids (maybe add undergrad as well). I mean obviously the market for Jordan extends well beyond the age range I described, but that's just my impression of them.

I'm referring to casually wearing these shoes around town when you're not playing basketball (or some kind of sport). For sport wear, these shoes are totally appropriate.

I like most Jordan's (not all) for two reasons: The history behind each original colorway shoe and the ROI.

For example, there are various types of Jordan's that retail at $140 back when it came out, but its current value can be anywhere from $400 - $2k+

Jordan has put money in my pocket and I like money in my pocket.

I'm also into Balenciaga's

Here's the sole. They are currently icy but I'm sure will yellow over time. I wear my sneakers and when they start to look bad buy new ones.
