There's an article in the Washington Post that came out in November, fyi which probably featured the October numbers. The month to months unemployment reports of course are volatile but there does seem to be a trend.

"Sorry, we canít seem to find the page youíre looking for."

Plus, the chart MKSixer showed pretty much refutes that argument, at least for MI.

The article clearly shows the counties in key battleground swing states in Michigan and Wisconsin that are experiencing rising unemployment rates that may swing the next election the other way. Its not the average state unemployment rate that matters-its where the voters live.

The democratic victories, the reduction in gerrymandering and changes in elected officials are as noted and easily researched.

Trump's popularity in some of the aforementioned swing states is down as much as 20 percentage points. These are the very places that won him the election in 2016. Its factual, and indisputable and the political environment in these states is changing from that of 2016.

It's very telling when Democrat hope lies in things going poorly (like rising unemployment, recession, war, impeachment, etc.) in this country. That's why they're doing everything they can to make it happen; or fool people into thinking it will happen.

All objective signs point to an incumbent victory (as usual), but the plague of TDS honestly weakens my confidence. I'm not taking anything for granted. 🤞🏻

Yea. It is reall only perception. But I sense this is really true.

Unfortunately a population (of any country) will not really dig very deeply to vote on facts. And when you have the new generation of journalists that really seek to sway people rather than present the truth its an uphill battle.

I have little doubt that if Trump looses the ultimate path to Liberalism will take over sooner rather than later. Its philosophically tough to take but at the age of 73 it really won't affect me "physically" just mentally.

But a small part of me will be happy if Trump loses bc he will have a better life. He tried.

Examples?

My gut feeling is that Trump loses MI this time around - based on nothing more than living in a blue-collar auto manufacturing town (again) and listening to what folks say.

I wouldn't venture a guess regarding WI or PA.

I gave examples but I'll play again. Note: this is not an exhaustive list.

The example that's specific to this very thread is unemployment. The far-Left is hoping unemployment will go up.

They're cheering on a recession. They want to portray the Trump economy as a failure. Elected Dems can't have people see tax cuts result in economic growth. Tax cuts are like garlic to a vampire.

They're all-too happy for racial strife, and will portray Trump as a racist and antisemite.

They want to get people to believe President Trump is anti gay.

They're trying to fool people into thinking we're in WW3 with Iran. 🤦🏻*♂️

There's the still-ongoing campaign to deceive people into thinking President Trump is colluding with Putin.

The list goes on...

The point here is Democrat success politically is found in our country's failure. That's why they're cheering it on or at least trying to fool people into thinking it's happening. This is a core reason I support the opposing party.
