Just curious if you would have done that if it was a M40i? I leave my cars the way they came.

I’m already in the full de-badge camp. But whatever floats your boat is good.

Brits, on the whole, are less inclined to modify vehicles (something to do with rules and regulations, pfft!). Nice to see one at least trying to follow the German way!

(Before anyone gets bent out of shape, take it as the humor it was intended).

Is the roundel on the front and back held on with adhesive or the traditional two post mounting

It's a 2 poster. I recently replaced mine. Rear was easy, front was a challenge to remove.

If he was Russian, he would take off the 4 and leave the Z.

Think its best for the driver for the Z being the first thing to go.

I think you know the answer.

Its rare that people debadge the top level trim cars.

To be fair "M40" looks MUCH better than "sDrive 30i". Too wordy back there. I had the dealer de-badge before delivery.

Definitely, because the M40i badge has the bright M stripes.

Now that I switched to the gloss black badges which are OEM, I love the look and wonder if some of the people who de-badged their cars would have ordered their cars with them if they had been an option from the factory. Other manufacturers offer black badges which look great on certain colors, why doesn't BMW?
