Interesting.
The side skirts on my 2006 Z4 M Roadster are plastic. What's your point?

Where are the cooled seats? And if BMW thinks it's only going to be driven in winter, then where's the neck warmer?

I really dislike the honeycomb grilles. What are they Lexus? Lol

All joking aside, they really annoy me. I don't like the seats in white but I'm sure there will be other colors. Im hoping for some brown variation.

The omission of ventilated seats is a real let down. Are we not supposed to drive these roadsters in warm weather with these leather seats?

Looks like the 40i will be a 2020 model. There is hope that they will add it.

The front fenders on my wife's 2011 335is Coupe are plastic. All E92s have plastic fenders. Plastic fenders on BMWs aren't new.

I don’t like that the digital tach goes counterclockwise - just looks backwards to me.

Something to get used to, but with the automatic, who cares about the tach?

If you happen to shift via the paddles, it might make a difference where the tach is and how easy it is to read.

The design just seems counterintuitive - I am not in the market for one of these cars anyway, but I assume the approach on the dash will be relatively consistent as the digital version is rolled out to other models...

I assume there will some dash layout presets available to select from, and the classic BMW layout is one of these. Or?

Great color & good design. Can't wait to see a manual in the future (wishful thinking)

I'm glad its not too sporty with a short hood. Also glad they don't offer manual. Even more glad they didn't increase the power that much.

Going to Stage 2 in my 35i with a REAL manual and challenging the first Z4 that wants to do a drag race.

I will say the new design is better than I expected
Unfortunately, I'm more excited about the z4 coupe, aka supra.
