MAX's seat was broken in 2 pieces . MAX lost consciousness for +/- 10 sec.
He got a concussion and had to vomit for 3 days ..

Yeah . For the price of a 10-second penalty !
And LEW's car was repaired under the RED flag ,of his own deliberately caused crash and to take the victory !
It was a true shame for motorsports !

The crash from Grosjean was 67-69 G !
It also really depends on the angle of the crash.
Stroll's crash was mainly a front impact, whereas Max' impact was from the side.
Because the drivers virtually are lying in their cars, a front impact is mainly downwards for the body, and in that direction the body is much stronger than with sideways forces. All your internal organs are pretty much hanging inside your body (on internal membranes), so downwards it's pretty strong.

And there's of course how long the body is exposed to high G's.

I think for penalties like causing a collision, something like the stop and go penalty should be reïntroduced.
Of course that doesn't help the other person in the crash, but it should make drivers think twice when going for the gap that isn't there.

Couldn't find the in car slow motion but LS's head got whipped forward pretty good. Would have been big trouble without the Hans device.

Currently the system of 12 license points exists.

As Silverstone 2021 demonstrated, a driver and his team can remedy a time penalty, repair a car and still win the race (helped by team orders for the team mate: "Team order: do not fight with Lewis" + "OK Valtteri, we invert the cars in turn 15 this lap") and leave the circuit with race win points pocketed, closing after 10 races the widening WDC and WCC points gap with the main rival team and main rival driver (who had won the three previous races as well as the first 'Sprint' event held the day before the race and who had qualified for pole position). Precious WDC/WCC points won (and precious points lost for the DNF'd driver and his team).

It could be way more effective if FIA would penalize collision offenders with track position penalties for the final classification of the race (inevitably causing the loss of WDC/WCC points penalties if the driver finished within the top 10). Teams and drivers are less worried about a time penalty than about losing WDC and WCC points.

You can play all the YouTube video's in slow motion

1- Click on settings (the wheel)
2- Select playback speed
3- Select 0.25 speed = slow motion

Rookie Liam Lawson is demonstrating that he deserves a seat in F1 as 'driver' instead of 'reserve driver'. Mick Schumacher had a chance at Haas to prove what he got, but, regardless of the car, didn't leave a lasting impression. Don't know how much money Lawson and Schumacher can bring to the table (sponsoring) - driver's choice should be based on talent, but in the very expensive real world of F1 that ain't usually the case.

Worth putting this on showing in-house fighting between struggling RUS and HAM and the famous ''they are copying my DRS trick'' from SAI which wouldn't work for RUS as his tires were too shot anyway.
Following Norris's moves too closely RUS blew it clouting a barrier too much on the last lap and crashing out he was livid then must have been calmed down by Wolff before saying it was just hard racing in the end.
