Hello folks

I've finally registered even though I have been reading this forum since before I ordered my SFR M40i in July.

Since the demise of the BMW Routes site, I am struggling to plan scenic drives. Instead of the sat nav deciding the fastest route to take, I want to be able to specify exactly which roads to us on a route between, say 10, different villages.

Wondering how you guys do it?

How do I tell the car to take exactly this route?

1. register to https://www.google.com/maps/sendtocar (use your bmwconnected id, to be found in your bmwconnecteddrive account)
2. in google maps, click 'sent to phone" below your destinations.
3. now you should be able to send the destination(s) to your vehicle

At least, this is how it works in some regions. Not all countries/regions are covered by google and bmw.
