idk guys tl-s with limited slip and 6spd tranny with about the same hp runs a 14.2



but he also doesnt even chirp the tires off the line mayb it is the tranny

why dont u go take a pic under the hood and post it. hes prolly screwing with u and its prolly not even supercharged. a supercharged tl with a high boost pulley will break 12s. so even if he doesnt have the high boost pulley he should be in the low 13s

hes not screwing with me ive seen it heard it been in it.. it is supercharged comptech with the ice box intake headers and crank pully plus a tune. NO lie. i can beat it in every aspect of racing . if its not running right idk but its been at several good shops that say it is running ok. only car ive seen him race was a g35 (auto)on the high way it was very even.

race him again on video. my 03 non supercharged TL will walk a G35 auto any day of the week. i kno this for a fact since one of my boys has a 06 G coupe w/cai. i still wanna see a pic of his engine bay and theres no headers for the 06 TL

i think it's just a little hard to believe that a 328i stock beat a TL. Even a stock TL could probably take you because teh 328i is by no means a fast car in a straight line.

yes he is ... there is no way way he was messing around.... before the race i was backing down due to the mods he has of course i thought i would get smoked but after peer presure i said il race u to see how fast it is.


and i end up winning every round i didnt miss 2nd gear. he was very pissed in his cars performance and ordered a high bost pully yesterday.

could his auto tranny be slipping?


btw the 328 isnt that slow in a straight line for a 202 whp car the low gearing helps a lot.

just think about it logically u guys weigh nearly the same. u have 202whp hes got close to 300whp. theres defi something wrong there. maybe he shifted before vtec eachtime thinking ur car was slow. but i have no doubt in my mind that my car will pull a stock 328i

hes had the car for like 2 yrs .. it always been like that tho. around that same speed if anything its faster with the more mods he has now. idk al i do know is my car is faster than his. i dont know his name on the forums his name is andrew if that helps.


btw the car pulls and feels nice and the sound is amazing on 6 psi.

Strong, though best above 3500 rpm. Test automatic-transmission TL did 0-60 mph in about 7 sec. Automatic downshifts smoothly, promptly for good midrange response. Manual-transmission test car did 6.2 sec 0-60. Manual has silky, short-throw shift action, but clutch engagement can be abrupt.

lol so ur sayin a stock 6mt tl is faster than a supercharged 5at TL? either they sold u a 328i with a 335 motor in it or theres something seriously wrong with that tl. im leanin more towards theres something wrong with his car

can you really confirm this guy actually HAS a SC? He might just be telling you that. There is no way you should be able to beat him with those mods. I had a comptech SC on my 02 Accord V6, and that thing was pretty darn fast, certainly faster than my 328 is.

im not gonna lie my car has a whinning noise due to the tranny. it can easily be mistaken for a s/c at slower speeds. Ive had people ask me if it was supercharged on many ocasions.

does his engine bay look like this?

yes same supercharger as that ive seen it 1st had it s a real whine like all i hear when we race .. he has the icebox tho fills up that whole right side dont think the plastic is red eather.



guys im not kidding lol he has it i beat him over and over again.


he says it dynoed at 286 vs my 202 car messed up or not i won. ill get a video with the the high boost pully. if we are close then i proved that i beat him before

btw stock auto tl 1/4 is 15.3 vs stock auto 328 coupe 14.8 just so you know stock vs stock 328 is faster. on a roll it could be very close??

the 15.3 is for the older 225hp TLs. my 03 TL-S is rated for a 14.8 stock. the 07 TL-S rated for a 14.3 if im not mistaken. im still on the hunt for a 328i ill post up a vid when i find one. theres a good chance somethings wrong with his car, maybe a leak.
