Which car under $100k are you currently lusting for?

Gonna keep it under $100K and just ONE car or we'd be here all day with that question just with my list...

I'm currently obsessing over the Porsche GT4..... I think it's the perfect blend of power and balance along with being just rare enough to hold its value.

They are starting to fall under $100K for some very nice examples with low miles.

So what is the ONE car Under $100K do you want in your garage asap?

I’d probably step into an F80. If I could go slightly above $100k, 991.1 GT3

Im actually in this hunt right now for my ...

Ps, its not a recent model and its a car i intend to keep indefinitely ie forever.
Would like to understand your constraints as well as i dont see any 718s holding real value long term.

Yeah just like the other previous versions of the Cayman S the values come down quite a bit a short the years go by as will the 718s, but the GT4 is a low production number (4000 total iiirc) and only made for one model year
they will be a much safer bet to hold value and probably start to increase in value at some point....I could be wrong, but it seems to be one of the safer bets as far as porsches go.

If it's a car you plan on keeping the GT4 is the way to go....I just wish my NSX was closer in value to getting into a $88k GT4 I would probably trade it in a minute.

There’s a new GT4 coming. The values will keep going down as long as the new one is NA

Rumor has it that it will be a NA 4.0 liter flat 6 that the 911 gt3 uses although it will be detuned to about 425hp so it won't kick its older brothers ass.

Hoping the GT4 v1.0 does drop some more in price so it will be easier for me to snag one

Kind of weird to say but under $100K nowaday is not that big a deal. To be honest, below $100K, there is not much I would call "lust". I'd like to have a 458 Speciale but you're talking about $500K or more. Not exactly a Porsche fan.

458 is probably one of my all time favs

You'd be surprised what you could get for under $100k these days, including pretty much any fully loaded M3-4 brand new

But if you don't mind slightly used there are some really nice R8's on Autotrader right now.... or Gallardo maybe??? This one has 17k miles and only $85K that leaves you $15k left over for its first oil change

Some nice 360's on there too for under $100k

Yeah, but I wouldn't call those "lust for". Probably they are some nice to have but not "lust".

Ok, so maybe not lust, but let's say you had $100k to blow on a car what would you get???

These aren't bad...brand new they're right under $100k and probably best bang for your buck as for as pure performance goes

Acura NSX. (preferably a 97ish) It's still my attainable dream car.

Is it me getting all jaded but I wouldn't want any of those. I would actually get an E46 M3 CSL over any of those.

Of course this would be different.

Unpopular opinion, but saw a blacked out Audi Q8 the other day rolling through a parking structure. Damn, this thing has an insane road presence. Similar to this spec, but blacked out chrome and wheels with dark tint

https://www.caranddriver.com/audi/q8

And I'd still have some left over for a cheap E46 M3 build
