Gravel under brake pad?
23 Z4 with 4700 miles. Scraping sound coming from driver side rear. Thinking gravel got between pad and rotor. Slammed on the brakes to try and dislodge it.... not it is a LOUDER scraping sound that increases the faster I go. Anyone had this happen before???

I've seen it posted before. Think it's not unusual.

I had one stuck between the disk brake and the metal shield/air scoop on the inside of the wheel well.
Easy fix once I found it. Had to pull the wheel and just had to flick it out w/ a long screw driver. |

Driving in reverse sometimes clears gravel if it’s caught between the rotor and the rotor dust shield.
