Has anyone replaced the steering wheel in their G29 Z4?

Having never had a BMW before, I find the steering wheel to be too much in girth. Way too much. I am already eyeing alternatives, perhaps the M Sport variant, but that is going to be $1600 plus labor.

I think thats the exact same wheel with different leather.

If you want thinner, ask if they can get you the non msport wheel, those are a bit thinner i think. But not as pretty in my opinion.

Non Msport is definitely not as nice. It's only slightly thinner, but the airbag cover is plastic versus the stiched leather on the Msport (wife has the non Msport in her X3). IMO, not worth it.
