lowering springs question

I’m looking at used Z4 M40i’s. I saw a couple people on this forum and installed lowering springs and said the handling drastically improved.

Not that the car needs it, but I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt to have even more cornering ability. I was kind of curious what people’s long-term observations have been in terms of how badly it may impact the durability of the adaptive suspension system.

I know the adaptive dampers would be an expensive replacement if they all started leaking prematurely!

Are there people here who have lowered their cars on springs, and I’ve had adverse wear, or early failure of the suspension??
