Waterless / in-between washes, what do you use?
I just had my Z4 paint corrected and ceramic coated and it's beautiful. However I live in an apartment and am not keen on driving to the self wash place every time it has garage dust or rain spots on it.
Before the coating I would just use a waterless wash and tons of towels, but I am extra paranoid about scratching the paint now, especially the piano black trims. How do you guys deal with this situation? |

I use Griot's Speed Shine. The ceramic coating is pretty durable and I don't see any problems with using the Speed Shine on top of it. I expect that most of the it doesn't actually stick to the ceramic coating anyway.
Just use enough to really wet the surface and plenty of clean microfiber towels to wipe it up. Using a dirty towel when you get down to the dry paint is where you can scratch it. So far, mine looks fine.

I use Adam’s detail spray. Any spray safe to use with ceramic coating is fine. The key as mentioned before is to make sure your microfiber cloths are clean. I use the better ones I have for this purpose.
I also had my car paint corrected so am a bit cautious to avoid scratches. |

Go to McKees37 Rinseless wash. Apartment friendly method. Easiest is a bucket of 3.5 Gal, sponge and drying towel. A step up is using an IK sprayer or similar to prewet when the car is extra filthy.
