Garage List
I'm running a 511 cu. in. (8.4 liters) Roush motor in a Superformance GT40. Had a '70 Cadillac Eldorado with a 500 in it. The project I'm currently pondering will be over 600 cu. in.

If possible, post a pic of the GT40!

I had a friend back in the day with a first gen SRT Cherokee that he supercharged. It made close to 600 hp at the wheels. To this day that's the most accelerative G-forces i've ever experienced, between the massive power and all-wheel drive.

Its funny because i'm generally not an SUV person and in some ways, i think high performance SUV's are even worse. And yet...something about those fast Mopars just does it for me beyond all logic. Trackhawk, SRT, hell even the Durango are all just very cool for some reason that I can't really put a finger on.

I had a friend that did the same exact same thing. It was fun as hell....and he hurt a lot of other people's feelings in that thing!

I shared this sentiment until I saw the Mopar engineers driving the first-gen SRT Grand Cherokee at One Lap of America years ago at Hallett.

It was frankly mind boggling how fast it was in a straight line and how well it cornered. They told me it was stock outside of a set of lowering springs, and removing all the interior past the front seats.
