The girlfriend is taking her childrens camping this weekend. Thursday & Friday night along with Saturday to myself. This would normally be the time that I find something that I enjoy doing alone; so, I'm doing some work for a buddy of mine. Paint correction, polish and wax on this gem.

Temps are finally below melt your sneakers in Florida, time to go to the beach. Another 10 degrees lower and the top may even get dropped.

Continuing to try to rebuild the wood porch railings on my GFs concrete steps. Undoing someone elses mess (I learned yesterday her dad built them 10 years ok), running back/forth to my house for tools, back/forth to the store for supplies, ugh. Nothing lines up, nothing is level, taking way too long.

Hopefully watching my Vols somehow beat the Gators tomorrow night. Either I drink bc we lose, or I drink bc we win. There is no in-between

Wedding tonight and heading to the coast to see Nelly tomorrow night. Not sure how excited I am about that. A friend couldn't use her ticket so free is always worth a shot to check someone out I haven't seen before.

Now that I am older I have zero desire to go to weddings. I know its selfish and mean but I just dont look forward to it. Maybe since moving to Florida and I wear nothing but flip flops and shorts. I havent had to get "dressed up" in 6 years now

I fricking love weddings, always have such a blast especially the ones for my close friends and family. The wife and I usually have a lot of fun with it - dressing up and we tend to color coordinate to an extent without being too obnoxious - typically turns into a long date weekend!

My work attire is business casual, so not too much additional when I attend weddings. The wife is always in scrubs so she enjoys getting all dolled up

I get it, when I lived up North and was your age I did too...it was an excuse to get away and stay somewhere nice and drink/eat/socialize with friends. Now (48), I tend to like my couch, my bed, my dog, my fridge, my wife and not wearing pants....
Florida really makes you too relaxed #IslandTime

I'm not touching them first hand, they will def be ordered online. I could see me running for office down the road and video surfaces of me leaving a sex shop with a pile of stuff, headlines reading "Proven pervert runs for state office"

Lol. We all know they exist but just haven't been caught yet.

You'll need to update us on how this whole thing turns out and the friend's reaction.

I use to enjoy them when I was younger as well. Now, it's an inconvenience lol. I have 3 in the next month and a half. Sucks!

I was going to put this in confess here but since we are off topic on weddings here's my rant. So, the one we are going to tonight. My husband has been friends with this guys brother since they were teens. They would all walk in the Irish Channel Parade once a year. That's when we would see them. It's been over 2 years since we've seen this guy. Why would you invite us?

It's the same thing for the wedding in Nov. I wouldn't know the girl getting married if she walked up to me. I was invited to her bridal shower and couples shower. My husband has known her parents for years but haven't seen them in at least 2 years. This makes no sense to me.

I know we have touched on how bad that truck is but the bike may be equally as cool.

Thanks! Truck has been great; I just keep tossing money at it. Actually just adjusted the compression and rebound settings on the shocks last night - 50 mph on washboards through the plantations and canopy roads last night like butter. Will be in the National Forest tomorrow. Getting really happy with where the truck is at. Working on house electrical and fridge system next. Tired of dealing with ice on trips.

The hardtail is a flippin' blast. Nothing too wild here in North Florida to necessitate full squish in my eyes, but she rips. Only shots I have I think. She's a dirty girl now...

Since my large shipment of medical stop leak (aka: liquid bandage) came in yesterday, I may put air in the new e-bike's tires and see if I can make it out of the living room this time without falling down and hurting myself again.....
