I'm partial to Benchmade but like micro tech as well. Just picked up the triage recently for my med kit.

They are all fully automatic (even the hook is auto on the triage)

When I was based in Germany, I saw the heavy half of a pool cue out vote a switch blade.

Be warned about the actual weapon laws here:
Automatic aka spring released knives are prohibited, one hand openable knives with a blade length above 8.5cm are also illegal.
So if you are entering Germany as a tourist via airport, be prepared to get ordered to the customs and get charged for this.

The incident occurred on an Army base (Kaserne) in 1968 and involved 100% US Army personnel. The bad-ass troop with the switch-blade ended up with a broken arm, as he well deserved.

Thx for the heads up.
The new Bundeswehr pocket knife is also equipped with an one-finger release hole and aside of ordered military exercises or active duty are prohibited to wear outside of the barracks.
The old model was a two-hand operated one and legal to wear either way.

Wow some deadly blades on here, had a flick knife that my dad bought in Italy which has since broke. Only pen knives allowed to carry here at 2 inches max.

I lost all my money just looking at it.

I have been wanting to buy myself a kukri for about a year now. I want to buy the same kind of kukris that are used by the Gurkhas or other special forces around the world. So who makes the best kukri?

These are the ones I'd talked about, above the alltime legal version.
The second picture showing normal pocket knives, lower one is also a rescue knife equipped with a covered belt cutter and a glas breaker thorn.

These are really good knives. The release button is the pivot point on the knife, makes it really clean looking.

My little collection.

Top to bottom:

Off-brand John Wick knockoff OTF I bought at a gun show. Lives in my desk and used to open boxes.
Benchmade Auto Stryker. Lives in my safe because the blade is too long to carry legally in Colorado.
Microtech Ultratech UTX-85. My favorite EDC.
Kershaw Leek. Alternative EDC.
Swiss Army I bought in Switzerland in 1994. Taken a beating over the years and still functions perfectly.

Nice set of knives!!!!
Every knife in my Arsenal is legal carry in my state

As long as the blade is less than 12 in

I can carry open or concealed.

Price and quality for EDC I have to add Kershaw Speed Safe Ken Onion Leek. Can be purchased at WalMart and Dicks Sporting Goods.

https://www.amazon.com/Kershaw-1660C...0434820&sr=8-4

Typically can be found for $50 at Dicks.

CRKT and I was lucky to get a double action by MDQ off Amazon and they are fantastic for action not super tactical or SO worthy like the Benchmade.
