1,000' chip-seal drive....am I asking for trouble regarding the brake squeal issue?

Order is in, now I'm kinda concerned about driving on my 1,000' chip-seal (typical highway type tar/rock topped) drive which has a lot of loose granite gravel 1/4" X 1/2". Apparently there's a problem with the brake seals or something where rocks can get stuck and cause noise and damage?
