I'm in better shape now than I was when I hit 50. Wish I'd started riding 10 or 15 years ago.

Whores, they always make ya come back. The divorce is OFF! For now..
That's the way I felt about my E38 (740iL). The car was a garage queen. I was spending close to $1000/month in maintenance. But when it was running right, it was a dream car. Fast and smooth as silk. A pure pleasure to drive and a head turner.

That's the thing with these cars. When you think you're doing 55-65MPH and you're really doing 105MPH, you begin to understand how awesome these cars are. Supremely stable and smooth. It's addictive.

My current ride is a Mercedes C300 and because of a job relocation, I'm only putting ~8k/year on it instead of the ~40k/yr I was putting on the E38. So the C300 has cost me next to nothing in maintenance. But it just isn't in the same class as the E38. It's a pretty car and not expensive to run, but it doesn't stir the soul like the E38 did.

I cant say that but I've been in good shape all my life. Now I cant lift as heavy as before and need to find other ways to do what I need to do. Got a concept 2 rower yesterday. My plan is to fight this aging thing like I have been all along. I cant stop age from taking my performance unfortunately but can stay fit.

I'm still thinking about buying a Concept 2. They have some at the university gym, but the hours for staff members suck. I'm not getting up before dawn to exercise and I can't do it over lunch. I just don't know if we have the space for it in our exercise room.

It does take up a decent amount of space but we converted the formal living and dining room into gym. Have pr lifting power rack, bench, built platforms for deadlift, dumbbell rack, ex curl bar, dip station, schwinn carbon blue and now concept 2. Still need to get more heavy dumbbells and some sort if cable system.

Your second appreciate wipes out your first, you know. Hmmm...That explains why my appreciates have gone down! There’s another explanation for that of course but that’s not acceptable.

Yeah, that's how I notice it, sometimes it goes to 0 when I appreciate it, so I click again and go "oh, I had already appreciated this".

I guess my next confession is that I click on the drop down arrow to see if I'm one of the people who appreciated it already before appreciating it...

Yeah I tried it on randomly before I knew about it. Bit chunky but not bad. Panerai are decent but keep creeping up in size. Like the brownish patina indices and weathered straps on some of em.

Confession of the day! I felt the same way about several of the ex-wifes cousins when we were married. After we divorced I soon found out the cousins felt the same way about me. Ended up with all 4 of them within a year.

I confess that when I am sick I have absolutely no patience for other people. The more obtuse a person is, the more of an asshole I am to them. Today we are currently at 5 verbal slashings....and I'm only 2.5 hours into my day.

Confession #2 of the day. When you're jeans have a serial number, you may have a problem with taking too much pride in what jeans you buy.
