Limp wristing most common issue, other issue could be ammo. Some manufacturers use harder primers which not all guns fire as easily. My glock doesn't like one specific ammo, but I also have an upgraded trigger that requires a weaker striker spring. Ran the rounds that didn't go off through my sig and had no issues.

What kind of malfunction are you getting? Click no bang with round in chamber and indent on primer? Stove pipe - empty casing stuck between slide and barrel? Failing to extract at all - leaving empty casing in chamber? Not loading a round into the chamber after firing?

Could be bad ammo too. I have one box of super cheap .45acp that is underpowered. I get fail to cycle jams all the time, but only with that box. Its 500 rounds so i just use that stuff at the range.

Two separate incidents one a stove pipe, the other the round didn't look to eject at all really. A second round was fed but the other was stuck at an angle above it still in line with the weapon.. if that makes sense. That one was a bitxh to clear. I was reloading mags while she was shooting, so didn't see what she was doing.

It did seem to shoot the box of hollow points better than it has shot the target rounds though..

Limp wrist a Glock and its almost certain to fail.
Where is Sara, she was rocking a new Glock that experienced some failures.

Thought I'd share my AR57 build. I got super lucky and while working at a gun store I bought the upper brand new for $100! Dude was a MD resident and was told he wasn't allowed to have it, my boss didn't want to buy it for the store and I offered him cash and he took it. The lower is built off an Anderson lower with Geissele 3gun trigger, Magpul SL-k stock and K2+ grip, Burris Fastfire 3, and a Teal Blue Bravo PDQ ambi bolt catch. I wanted to swap the charging handle to the left side which normally means you have to remove the bolt catch because the ping pong paddle will get in the way. I cut that off of the PDQ, cut a channel in the lower for the ambi side and now I have a left side charging AR57 with a bolt catch. Took a bit more filing and dremeling than I initially thought because of how different the upper is. Finished off with Jesse James Eastern Front Green and Armor Black Cerekote (done at NOVA Firearms in McLean, VA). I'd super happy with this build. The AR57 is a blast to shoot and I have never seen anyone build one like this with the ambi bolt catch. I gutted a GI stamped mag, cerekoted it black to act as a brass catch.

Love it! Been thinking of building an AR57 myself as I'm not super into the PS90 and I have an FN Five seveN.

Dang man, stunning gun, love the look. Even the Doctor sight comes over a little too small for the big gun. Consider to replace it with a EO sight 553?

My artist friend was looking over my shoulder when I was reading the forums and asked "what is this thread titled Fire Arms?" about.

I laughed in her face. She painted this:

Well my CCL expired and apparently when you move between counties within the state you have to re-provide proof of class (which I no longer have) so looks like I'll be taking a class to get a permit again. Thinking of going cheap and easy online class just to get past min requirements since I actually practice and know what I am doing already. Any suggestions (in Iowa, most classes probably qualify)

Thanks to those of you who responded to my posts and gave advice. I've been busy with school but plan to read them soon.

Just came in here to post this.
Thirteen y/o accidentally* shoots himself in the head and kills himself while live-streaming on social media. Who the hell points a gun at themselves just to show it off? Somewhere in the article, it states that the grandmother said something along the lines of "he didn't kill himself. It was the gun's fault," which is fucking retarded. His father's response was more appropriate imo.

*meaning it wasn't a suicide attempt (I think)

I learned the hard was as well. Never let it expire, always renew.

I went in to renew 30 days prior to it expiring (as Iowa rules say) and they said since I moved to a different county within the state I had to resubmit all paperwork regardless.

I finally decided I wasn't spending enough $ on guns and enough time on gun forums, so I bought a 2010 e93. Now I can spend time and $ on BMW forums too!

It may not be a good thing that my guns are worth more than my car though!

I don't see anything wrong with that.

Also, FWIW I have a gun-related Instagram account: @runforestruuuun

Many of my pics now have an M3 theme to them.

I'm turning 21 (legal age for handgun purchase) in a few months and have been considering purchasing a handgun for personal defense, but I'm torn. It isn't manufacturers and the stupid NRA that make me want one, it's incidents like this. I'm worried that some idiot will pull a gun on me on the road or something (call me paranoid if you want). I'm not interested in being a hero, but as someone who often has deep thoughts about life and wasted life around the world (not only due to guns), I'm not interested in getting shot.

The conflict within is whether I think I can trust myself with a handgun. Will I get heated enough to pull a gun on someone during a conflict when they're not an imminent danger? Will I become a part of those statistics, like suicide, family homicide, accidental discharge injury, etc? Where would I carry? With CHL, I could carry on campus, but I'm not interested in that. Would handgun stay in car only?

Will the handgun do more harm than good? Basically that's where I'm at.

Also, I have shot guns before, including automatic AK47, but I'm only interested in purchasing one handgun. Nothing else. I was thinking a somewhat compact Glock or Sig Sauer, nothing too small though.
If you get a handgun, only use it as a last resort. Meaning, you can't get away and your last means of survival is your sidearm

Got my belt and holster today from alien gear. Fast ass shipping. Gear seems good too. Conceals my glock 23 very well in a t shirt and jeans. No complaints.
