If you ever want to sell it, I'll drive to GA to get it with cash in hand.

Sounds like you are ready for a Timex.

Real Intelligent answer. If you think a movement needs to be changed within 3 years, you are lost.

Also, the Timex's I've seen ppl wear have never had movement issues, those things are fuckin bulletproof.

I spent 11 hours doing paint correction on the E92. Let's never do that again.

MAMP was basically plug and play.

I've never set up a streaming media server before, so the coolness factor is there for me. I can't say whether MAMP works better than Plex, but I think it's cool you can watch a stored video on any device in a browser but just going to http://servername/filename.mp4.
Ah ok, makes sense if it works with that specific app. Apple media sharing isn’t all that great in my experience. Half the time my Apple TV couldn’t see my home share library and it would lose connection for no reason. I have a desktop in our office set up as a Plex server and it works pretty well. Good interface and adds album art/movie info to the files. Currently use it to stream from the office to the living room with either a 4K Apple TV or NVIDIA Shield. Also use it from my phone or ipad for music and movies. At some point I may add a compatible antenna to get OTA HD broadcasts so I can ditch cable completely.

We dumped cable and went with YouTube TV. We're not big TV watchers, so that was enough for us. We get the national and local channels and still a shit ton of useless crap we never watch, but it's $50/mo instead of $150.

When we moved into this house we got rid of cable also & got you tube tv. I've enjoyed it for the past few years.

Nice. Love how simple, and classy it looks. I plan to keep my E90 for a long time.

Only reason we still have cable is because it doesn’t save us all that much to drop it when you have internet and phone line bundled with it. I think my wife and daughter are the only ones who’ve watched anything off of the Comcast box in a year. Although, to be fair, some of the Apple TV and Android TV apps require you to have a cable subscription to watch so I may have used one of those.

I’m more of a Netflix/HBO Now person with a dash of Amazon Prime. Most of what I watch isn’t kid appropriate so there’s very limited time to watch much of anything.

While YouTube TV looks ok, I’ll consider it when YouTube stops spamming me with those YouTube premium free trial pop ups nearly every time I want to watch a video on their site

We have the basic "Dish" package. We don't even have Internet Service at the house..LOL.

I use my phone as needed, and I have a "Hot Spot" from work that we can access with our tablets if wanted.

Other than that.....I work in this stuff everyday, so last thing I want is to deal with it at home. Usually I'm reading a book or something anyway.

I have both, and love them for very different reasons. If there's any way you can do it, I'd keep your beautiful E36 and add an E92 later on.

I've owned my E92 for 9 years and still love the stupid car to death. It's always an event driving it (full catless with Eisenmann Race exhaust). I've considered selling my Techno Violet E36 a few times but it's still in my garage 7 years after I bought it.

Pros for the E36:
Small size
Much cheaper to maintain and repair than the E92
You can run through the rev ranges for the first 3 gears and you're not going silly triple digit speeds. You can break most in town limits in second gear on the E92
I'm assuming you've had your E36 for a few years now. Of course like everyone else, I'm sure you've put a few thousand into it making it nice or repairing. What else is out there for under $15k that's as fun as this car? I've yet to think of one.

Of course there are plenty of pros to the E9x M3 which are very well documented, but the E36 is just so underrated.

Sorry for the long post haha. Both amazing cars!

That is the plan, I just already have too many cars. I have my daily e91, the m3, a 73 2002, a 74 2002 project(probably selling soon), 1983 944(my first car that I want to get back on the road), and a 71 2800cs project with my dad. I also have a 77 Cherokee Chief project, 77 wagoneer, and a 84 XJ wagoneer that my dad and I share and work on. Something has to go. Maybe Ill sell the wagon when I get tired of it and get an e90 m3 to daily.

Why not, I am sitting in my cube at work with nothing to do.

The wagoneer wears its original paint, and interior but everything underneath is new. We painted the frame, fully rebuilt the engine, trans, diffs, transfer case, etc etc. Inside we have the factory air blowing ice cold and hid some speakers and added a radio that looks original but has bluetooh.

The XJ wag, its an 84 with 85k original miles. It still has the grease pen marks under the hood and besides a new headliner the interior hasnt been touched. We were going to submit it to BAT but Im a little worried the market is down.

MPOWER5266 That Wagoneer is the bee's knees. Jeeps and Bimmers are my go to with who knows how many I've owned... I've wanted an SJ for a long time and still do. Can't decide if a Jeep or another M will be next in the garage. Cool stuff, man!
