Amazing what you can do at home actually. I have a couple bands, 35 lbs dumbbells and 25 lbs dumbbells. A pull-up bar in door. You can pretty much do everything with this setup if you get creative - use furniture - whatever - YouTube prison workouts for ideas. Those guys use bags of water and squat with partners on shoulders etc.

I traveled for work this week and am flying back home today. My boss and I relocated one of our small on-site data centers to an off-site location over the weekend. We all have the ability to work from home, but it will supposedly be business as usual working in our offices.

In my off time, I'd like to go to the gym, but it has been closed. I was also hoping to go snowboarding, but all of the resorts have been closed. Going to bars and restaurants is now out of the question as well. I suppose I'll play the Pandemic board game to pass some time.

Golfing, mainly...courses are deserted. Although now it had to go and start raining too, so...staying inside and catching up on self improvement reading list, learning more about stocks and investing / options / futures trading, etc. Trying to get in touch with a couple others to design an MVP for a small business I've been wanting to get off the ground.

I have a 75lb barbell and 15 lb dumbbells. It's on the light side, but I been doing a lot of reps and sets for an hour a day including push ups, pull ups. Its awkwardly light doing squats and deadlifts with a 75lb barbell haha

Do front squats instead or lunges and don't be afraid to put those dumbbells in a backpack while doing those squats or pull-ups or dips!

Governor announced shutdown of all bars, restaurants, and gyms today. Restaurants are allowed to do take out orders.

Guess I'll be busy moving back into my house the free weights and benches I have stored in my shed to ride out the gym closure.

Up until my dad got sick, I was hitting it pretty hard and heavy. But I'm not going to be benching 3 plates plus at home with just my wife there.

So I will just ride it out. When I don't get to the gym, I lose weight. So I'll just use it as an excuse to get really lean.

Similiar to when I get ready for the beach....except we aren't going to the beach anytime soon!

I hear ya! Well I don't have any free weights here at home so now I just got off work and I'm sitting on the couch lost as normally I'm getting ready for the gym. this is not my normal routine so I'm just sitting here anxiously trying to figure out what to do with myself. Its not Wednesday so you know that's out of the question

Yeah....it sucks when your routine gets screwed up. At least we got muscle memory. Anything we lose will come back pretty quickly.

I've always been fortunate with that. I can put on 20lbs as easy as I can lose it!

Problem with my ectomorphic frame, it takes a lot for me to bulk back up. I had to work hard to get to where I am and taking off more than a week starts to affect me. So I'm glad I have the weights and didn't sell them. Almost did because I never thought I would end up getting divorced and being able to move the stuff back into the room in my basement she had her elliptical machine.

Ironically I was going to take 2 months off work and do the following:

gardening
de-cluttering
Track brakes for the M3
Track wheels and tires for the M3
Detail wife's car
Repainting my son's room
At least 3-4 track days

I was able to get one weekday track day in and had a couple more lined up but then I got offered a new contract I couldn't say no to. 2 days into my new contract and the corona bs starts. Now they are setting me up to work from home. I would squeeze in a track day but now they are getting canceled!!

I keep going back and forth with this. I'd love to be quarantined for a week or two. I'm fortunate in the fact that I work for a food manufacturing company and our facility will stay in operation. My biggest fear in this pandemic, is loss of financial gain as I am pretty healthy and live alone.....and obviously greedy on a financial level. But, I'm also a bit of recluse that is constantly on the go. I'd love to be forced to stay home and take care of some personal things that I never have time to work on......


......then again, the thought of being forced to stay home and be paid to watch TV and relax for a few days is very enticing. I have no clue what it's like to be lazy.

Wife has taken off cnn finally, I thought the tv would explode from 10 days constantly on

We're working from home, family and close friends are all ok, so now we just put on 1980's music videos on 150+

Sucks after the second day of doing nothing. I had surgery and was forced to stay home in bed.
