It's the same story from all the Euro cars. The A3, 2 series, Macan, etc. Downsize to keep from pricing yourself out of the market and make it up by raping for options.

I think it's a risky bet that could kill them if credit tightens and/or interest rates rise. I'd bet all of this new breed of cars will be overwhelmingly leased vs purchased. $60k financed for 5 years with $10k down is probably $1,000 payments? If MF rates rise and lease rates on the higher end versions of these cars are $800+ they won't be able to give them away.

I love what the CLA 45 offers, and the design(Loving the design language on the new Mercedes-Benz's, can't say the same for BMW) it just sucks that it's essentially FWD. The 4Matic only cuts in when things get nasty.

true that. I think he found his niche though. There are plenty of people that do car reviews via driving. He focuses more on the smaller things people think about when buying a car.
