Radio still playing when you press the engine stop button.

There might have been a thread already posted on this question but where do you go in the settings so that the radio stops playing when you press the engine stop button?

Not sure where in the settings but it should be there. An easier fix is to open the door.

Yep, it just keeps playing until you press the volume button or open the door. I agree, it should be a setting.

Put that right behind the lack of really useable cup holders in the Z4!

I know people hate them, but I haven’t had a major issue with the cup holders. After all the driving I’ve done over the last four days weaving through the Smokey mountains, I’m so impressed with the car that the less than optimal cup holders don’t bother me at all. If it’s a big issue they make a cup holder that fits between the seat and the console that I’ve seen posted on this forum.

It's a heck of a lot better than on my old Z3!

Mine only goes off when I lock the car. There may be a setting for it to go off on door opening which would be very useful. Time to have a look at that!

Actually already covered by this thread

I'm of like mind. Only issue I have with the cup holder is that if they are both occupied I bump my elbow quite a bit. But .. again .. this is a vehicle designed to be small, compact and just fun to drive. Despite the fact that I am using mine as an every day car, i don't think that was the intention of the engineers.

The seats, no issues with. After some settings adjustment, it's very comfortable for me.

I also agree on the seats being amazing however I do have an issue with the seat belt still cutting into my neck no matter how I adjust the seat.

Seatbelt does rub against my neck, but it's fixed real quick by me folding my collar up a little or over the belt.

That is not a fix for me as I live in South Florida and my dress code during the day is to wear a comfortable T shirt.

When it comes to BMW's the finest every day cars are the X3 and X5. They're also their biggest sellers I believe. You've got everything going on there - plenty of pep, very comfortable, super quiet, good gas mileage, great utility for hauling stuff. I added the trailer package but haven't used it yet. Will since I sold my Tundra. Think it's rated for some unreal capacity like 7,200#. Talking the "slow" 40i engine in our X5. Can't imagine the 50i. I mean who needs that much power?!

Hard to beat the comfort of the Z4 *for a sportster*.

I can't say I've had the pleasure of driving around other sportsters out there, but I can't ague with the level of comfort. Based on what I've been hearing, I don't know if I could have pulled that off with a Porsche or other similar/comparable cars. I do drive my Z4 every day. Probably will be until I get my wife her Lexus that she's been wanting. I'll drive our Honda everywhere until it's ready to go to the kid.

The Z4 is the most livable roadster I have driven. The Miata is a close second. Post that, the Nissan 350/370Z and vette just don't compare.

I couldn't imagine the Vette being an every day car. I LOVE the C7 and C8, but couldn't imagine trying to go to work in that eveyr day or to my medical appointments, etc. The Z4 is much more able to do so and I don't feel AS worried as I would something that draws more attention.

oh.. btw.. the other day I went to my medical appointment and when I came back out a Supra (empty parking lot) HAD to park next to me. :P

That was a subtle hint from the owner of the Supra that not only are your cars related but that his car is slightly faster.
