I programmed the car to start in sport individual, thinking i could easily change things up if i ever felt like it. But in practice i havent touched the settings for years

I think i have alll my set to sport plus, maybe the suspension on comfort.

I'm thinking of programming the default to regular sportplus.
Because to me it feels like my tune tune is a slightly more agressive in sport plus compared to sport individual (which might be the suspension thing now that i think about it) .

If you put the suspension in Comfort mode and leave all of the other settings in Sport Plus do you still get the louder exhaust sound of Sport Plus?

Everything in sport plus except the suspension which is in comfort mode. With the back roads I use for fun which have deep compressions, humps and variable surfaces anything other than comfort is a bit too edgy.

I just keep it on sport+ when alone and on comfort when the wife's on board or stuck in traffic.

What is the difference between comfort steering and sport steering, do you really get more fine control...but I assume at the expense of harder steering?

I do this too:
Sport+ throttle/engine
Comfort damping
Comfort steering
Sport transmission

Damn love those crackles and pops.

Good question, is there a major difference between the two?

Sport steering stiffens the feel, effectively requiring more effort to turn the wheel. I suspect they just reduce the amount of power assist provided.

I have decided to try these settings as the 75-80% of my driving in on the local roads that have a 25-45 mph speed limit. This of course is subject to change.

My steering perception is the car does more with less in sport.

Been trying out the Sport Individual settings and also use

Engine: sport plus
Dampening: Comfort
Steering: Comfort
Transmission: Sport *

*The louder exhaust of Sport mode gets subdued if using Comfort transmission due to the cars desire to shift to higher gears for fuel economy. Sport transmission setting winds out the gears more and imo makes for better sound.

I believe it’s related to throttle sensitivity.
