In search of my cars Identical twin(s) - Checking the Z4 build for Uniqueness

My Z4 finally arriving this Sunday to port as per the Donnington Vessel schedule. My specs are Alpine white with black alcantara interior with blue stitching and blue brakes and 18 inch wheels. On a call with genius to check the status they mentioned its a unique combination not many of them are out there.. That made me curious.. Anyone here got this combo? Also anyway to get that confirmed how many like that in NA?

Also would really appreciate if you have it you posting some pictures..

I've seen one in those colors on a dealer's lot, but it had 19" wheels.

There's not too many of these cars to begin with. Nice spec anyway though. I'm personally in favor of actually getting what you want instead of trying to go for a "rare" spec.

There are 7 exterior colors and 5 interior color choices (counting both black options, excl. sensatec). That’s 35 specs. Include wheel combinations: that’s 175 specs. Double it for moonlight v black tops to 350 unique specs. Insert trim options and you have 1,050 specs. Throw in shadowline: 2,100. Red brakes v blue: 4,200. Manual (future): 8,400.

I am amazed that the genius person would be so tuned in on the colors that people ordered on the Z4!

Alpine White has been available from the beginning (2019) and I believe the black alcantara has been too so I would be surprised if that combo is terribly rare. The 18" wheels on a M40i might be the only thing out of the ordinary because most are ordered with 19" wheels. Rare or not, you have a wonderfully spec'd Z4 that will certainly turn heads.

Why did you exclude Sensatec?

You have now. Key difference (excluding not leather) is the headrest stitching.

Hard to tell, what’s the headrest stitching color? So 5,040 combinations possible incl sensatec!

I was only referring to design but also different is omission of contrast color stitching & seatbelt edge. So yes!

My build has ACC, parking assistant and wireless charging but no leather, no HUD, no HK, no extended shadowline & no adaptive headlights. Probably very rare maybe even no twin.

See the pictures of black alcantara with contrast blue stitching from another post. It also add the M colors to seat edge -

I had black leather with blue stitching on my M340i. If you haven’t seen it in person, the blue really stands out and looks good.

From my observation and time spent on Autotrader and such, it does seem to be one of the less popular interior colors.

I think a lot of people chose other-than-black interior for their cars for a few reasons. Not that classic black isn't good, but the other color combos are a current trend in interiors - there's nothing wrong with following a trend.

Have had all black interiors in most of my previous cars. Really wanted added color inside this time. The Cognac and Magma are my favorites.

That is interesting because I don’t believe I’ve ever had a black interior in any car I have owned.
