When I had my former 2013 Miata in the Northeast, top down in temperatures in the low 40’s, jacket and warm hat. No heated seats or wheel but I was very comfortable…..people would always comment at stoplights. Probably thinking “look at this moron” haha

You forgot a beanie, scarf, and layers!

Z3 design is breezier than a Z4, or even than a Miata if memory serves.

My limit with the Z4 is 50 on surface streets and 60 on the highway. But if I’m in the mountains, I’ll find a way at lower temps. The wifey had a blanket.

BMW blanket! Wife needs that for sure, she was chilly yesterday (upper 60’s but solid low overcast) gotta get one of those.

BTW pretty neat included Idrive features to set a auto on temp for the heating (seats,wheel) depending on outdoor temperatures. Set mine to 50 degrees.

All of the above are true, but my wife was being a trooper putting up with spirited driving in the curves so I wasn't going to push my luck.

Plus we knew we had an excellent afternoon with the top down coming our way.
