Took delivery after 10 weeks!
They repaired the scratch and got the car to my dealer. I took delivery on Tues, 4/16. It was slightly anti-climatic because I had a lot going on with work and since I had the windows tinted I couldn't put the top down until Thursday. Now that I can fully enjoy it I'm ecstatic about this car. I'm still learning and getting used to the new tech but I'm very happy with my purchase.

I told them to go as dark as legally possible in FL. I think she said 30%. Here's top up shots.

That was the last option (M Track Handling) that I struggled with and probably the best decision I could've made. Someone mentioned earlier that the black with shadowline trim needed contrast. I really prefer that all blacked out look and the blue big brake calipers def make it stand out.

Officially 'arrived' at the VPC Baltimore today. Scheduled to be handed over to carrier (trucking company) on Wednesday, supposed to arrive at dealer on Saturday. Easter must have held up things. Was hoping to be able to pick it up Thursday or Friday.
Still hoping for it to arrive at dealer Friday or first thing Saturday so I can pick it up Saturday and it doesn't get delayed until next week |

Took Only 4 Weeks to Build Mine
I ordered 4 weeks ago and the build status is showing complete. Doing ED mid May so the car will be ready way before my pick up date. Hoping for 3 days of good weather in Germany!

You were able to ED? The ordering guide showed this was not available on the Z4, presumably because it is assembled in Austria. That is great news if true!

Mine is supposed to leave the VPC on Thursday and be delivered to dealer on Saturday. And Saturday has snow (!!!!) in the forecast. Perfect roadster weather.
I just hope it gets delivered Friday night or Saturday morning - dealer said they would have it ready for me to pickup Saturday late afternoon before closing in that case. Not sure I’ll survive the weekend if the Z4 stands at the dealer and I can’t get it!!! |

My car finished production as planned and I can now draw a VIN decoder report which shows 4/26 as the production date. Now let's see how long it takes for it to get to the port and on a ship. From experience I believe it will be about 5-6 weeks now until delivery. That puts it right into my vacation abroad... and that would add another two weeks to the wait until I can pick her up...
