If the old G35 had personality and the new G is trying to be like the old G then the conclusion is that in fact it does have personality like the old one, no?

Exactly! I want the most speed and performance for the money and the 335i was the baby.

I don't think the G37 looks cheesy but I do think they missed the mark on the new styling. I had mentioned before that the 07 concept coupe they showed earlier in the year was more on the mark and may have persuaded me to go that route. However, no regrets. The 335i coupe is hot.

Whether you like it or not, a 335 is an upgrade over a G3x. There are many G35 owners who stepped-up to a 335, that's their decision. Hopefully there aren't many 335 owners who step down into a G35. Financial problems, tired of BMW dealerships, who knows what could cause it, but there's no question such a situation would be a downgrade.

Common sense says many G3x owners are interested in BMWs. There's not much interest the other way around. And where are we? On a BMW forum. So in case you haven't noticed, we like BMWs. It doesn't make a G3x a bad car, but it's certainly no 3 Series.

Cool is a term used in HS. Was that a cool thread where the 335 owner raced a G37? Start some stuff? Gotta go, I think the 7th period bell just rang.
What are you talking about?

Nothing you are saying here runs contrary to what I have already said. I have NEVER said anything against the 335, as I have said repeatedly. Your statement could have been made without trying to quote me.

AS A MATTER OF FACT IN YOUR QUOTE FROM ME I STATE I HAVE ALWAYS GIVEN THE 335 ITS RESPECT. Learn to read idiot!

I'm very excited about receiving my 335i coupe, it's on order and I'm sure I'll be very happy with it.
On the contrary, I did own an '04 Graphite G35......with a Gialla front grill, upgraded sways, etc.

as a current g35 owner..and being confused on wat to get after this lease is up..between the 335i/g37..ill give the g37 an edge in technology..but i feel the 335i has the edge in everything else..obviously power..looks..interior..exterior..fuel economoy..bmw maintenance..which has been making me lean towards the 335i..on the other hand if i had to settle for buying a 328i..id much rather hav the g37 because i believe those two cars fall within the same price range and i feel the 335i is a step above the g37..if the g37 had a different trim level with a faster engine or something like that id feel itd be more comparable to the 335i performance wise. but for now performance wise i feel it cannot come close, and i give the edge to the bmw for all other aspects of the car minus the technology included inside the g37..hopefully i can be joining you fellas as a 335i owner eventually =)

Looks cheesy? The G35 and G37 look almost exactly the same. The only reason to buy the G37 is for all the new interior technology.

My friend just got a G37 and has been talking crap for the entire week he had it. Finally, he put me on the spot and said 'let's go' so I gladly accepted. He was back about 5-6 CL from 0-100. He didn't want to try a second run.

The car only entered its 2nd generation this year. Those things are built to last. IMHO if you've gone through 3 already you could have simply gotten an E46 M3 brand new, that depreciation on the G's would have covered 1/2 of the M3. that's a lot of money.
