Nice! I have to say that a big fancy pickup was my dream car in another life.

But the bed is too small for a sheet of plywood. We use a 1999 Plymouth voyager with all the seats pulled out. It’s more space than any but the longest pickup beds.

That Plymouth is missing the headliner, dashboard and other original equipment, but in its day it was a tricked out minivan. Still rides like a dream ... makes a great hauler.

Love the F150 in general but yeah Raptor is pretty awesome and seem to hold value pretty well.

I would love a Raptor but just saw a Gladiator and we love Jeeps too, so that might be our newest addition.

Sheet of plywood is definitely possible, you just tip it against the closed tailgate. Can only do a few sheets at a time though.

And I hauled some 12ft pieces of trim the other day by going thru the back window

Never thought of that, but I’ve never had a pickup.
Gotta one-up you one more time - in the ancient van, that ply can stay in the car forever. Don’t have to worry about the next rainstorm.

Congrats on your new ride! Gotta admit I’m a little envious ...

Americans have always come up with these fast pickies like Cyclone, Lightening, Viper truck and now this Raptor.

Don't see what all the fuss about Raptor is though?

Congrats. Be sure to check under the truck for rust. Big issue with first gen raptors. Get ahead of it before it becomes a problem.

Great truck for sure. My roommate had one and I put probably 5k miles on it myself. Certainly one of my favorite trucks on the road. Nice buy.

Checked thoroughly before purchasing. Not a hint of rust.

Just did a 300 mile road trip and got roughly 16mpg on 87. That's with brand new spark plugs that I just changed.

I still like the old ones. The new ones, I swear, I see more of them than any other truck on the road. Can't wait to see Dodge's answer to the Raptor!

I have never owned a truck, not a fan of Ford.....I absolutely love these trucks! There is a local guy here that has one in black that has every bell and whistle you can put on one. It is as the Germans would refer to as das uber badass.

Congrats and enjoy!

Selling 80K trucks is genius on the american auto-maker's part. These are the "Cadillacs" of this generation. Most of these are too nice to actually use as a truck now.

Nice truck!

Yes, 13 is closer to the correct number.

OP, check to see if your fuel pump fuse has been relocated, its a common problem that is an easy fix.

I have a 2013 Raptor, it has been great, I have 68,000 miles on it, it has never been to the dealer for anything, and never failed to work perfectly...until a week ago when I was bitten by the fuel pump fuse.

I have a 2019 and with nearly 600 miles with a full tank, who cares. My friend’s Mini JCW could barely keep up. Incredible truck Ford did.

Fuel pump fuse relocation was the first thing I did to the truck.
