I used to work one exit north of RUF, they'd frequently enter the Autobahn at full throttle, check vMax and circle back and do it again before going back to the plant. Such a cool sight and sound.

Now I live close to where they build Tundra pickups. What have I done?!

Great car, great roads. As I was watching the video I was thinking, that could have been shot around here. Sure enough it was. I've had lunch at that pub.

So jealous of the roads, Toronto is an absolute miserable driving experience, words cannot describe how bland the roads are.

You have to drive a bit to get a decent road in the GTA or southern Ontario. There are some short roads close to the city but you need to get farther out to find a decent drive.

Forks of the Credit, Lower Baseline, King Street in Niagara along the base of the escarpment are not terrible and within an hour-ish. If you search this forum for GTA cruises, there are some decent Sunday runs they've done and the maps/routes are posted.

Here's a link to one of the cruises.

Forks is rubbish, all covered in speed bumps now.

Lower baseline is literally two corners ... two fucking corners.

Niagara is okish but brutal traffic in and out.

It's just a shit region for driving, absolute rubbish. This is a fine city but in general is vanilla ice cream with no topping. There is a dullness here that is hard to get used to, even after 15 years.

I lived in Toronto most of my life. I'm glad to be out of there for a number of reasons, traffic being one of them. There are some nice drives up in Muskoka and in Prince Edward County which are less than 2 hours once you get out of the city. Good luck
