Passat CC - Thumbs up or down?

I think it looks pretty good if you get the right color combo... My fav is the white with panorama roof together with black and creme interior...

VW made the phaeton and now they think they can charge a premium on their POS cars. same thing for the eon, that little POS convertible isn't worth anything more than $20k

Thumbs Up for the Passat. Looks good outside and inside it's really nice and spacious (the BMW 3 is smaller than a Jetta, the Passat is easily the space of the 5). Thumbs Down for the CC: the back looks weird when you see it on the road.

Seriously, have you compared ? Most of the the materials between VW and Audi are the same. Only the seats are different.

Yes I have. Have you?

VW and Audi are very different when you turn knobs, push buttons or push on the panels IMO...

But I guess that's where the price difference partly is.

i would wait for the audi version but it is still nice if you don't go crazy with the options...

base is 27,xxx

loaded is 41,xxx

+1 coming from test driving an A4 and a passat 3.6. Audi's buttons/knobs may look the same but audi's buttons seem to feel like they will last a lot longer.

Thumbs up. It's beautifully designed inside and out. Very reasonably priced. I sat in one this weekend at the LA Auto Show and the interior finishes are on par with the A8. The glass roof and the frameless windows are amazing.
