93k is bringing you towards the higher end Mercedes and BMW cars. Heck, you could get lightly used Aston Martin's in that range. This car is a HUGE fail.

Haha, I knew nothing about this car! Wow, for $93k, they better come up with a new luxury make for that car if they ever want to DREAM about selling even 5 of these in the US. No one will pay that much for a Hyundai. Shoot, no one would even pay that much for a Volkswagen, which is why the Phaeton failed.

exactly, this car is going to suffer the same fate as a Phaeton. if i was honestly going to blow 100k on a car it would not be a Hyundai. also, this car looks way too much like the Lexus or the new 7 series just like the Genesis looks way to much like the Altima coupe. in a few years we will probably have a 100k KIA out there.

It'll probably be $55-70k if they bring it here.

I'm curious to see just how packed with features it'll be, though. If the Genesis is anything to judge by, it'll be worth checking out.

i had the chance to ride in one in korea over the summer. My grandfather has one. It's a VERY VERY luxurious ride. Smooth, and very classy looking.

I would say as price goes.. it deserves a high end price as the built quality and features are deserving, but i woudl have to agree with everyone else, that i would not choose this over a mb, or bmw. But if it were a substantially lower priced option, maybe 60 comparable to a 75k lexus, i would heavily consider this car.

Yeah, that's true.

But then again...

Lexus ES350, Invoice: $30,774

Lexus IS350, Invoice: $32,578

Hyundai Genesis 3.8L, Invoice: $30,243 or $34,521 for 4.6L

I'd take the Genesis.

If the Hyundai is a contender at $30,000, I suppose $70,000 isn't out of the question.

For what its worth I have seen the genesis on the streets and if looks are anything to jugde by, it can hang with the big boys. Add to that a 100,000 mile warranty and it suddenly becomes a good bang for the buck in this economy. Once people start choosing hyundais over higher priced competitors in this market, the company will build a strong brand equity and will make a name for themselves like lexus did.
